4: Creating the Demonstration System Forms

4.9 Summary

In this chapter, the data entry forms and formfiles used in the Demonstration Subscription System have been re-created. The screen displays depicted throughout are excerpts from the actual system and should match closely those which you’ve created. If they do not, determine the cause(s) and make any necessary corrections before proceeding further. If you are satisfied that you have successfully completed this portion of the C/Base Tutorial then return to the Toolkit Menu if you have not already done so.

As was noted earlier in this chapter, many additional capabilities of the C/Base data entry forms exist which are not used in the Demonstration Subscription System and, therefore, have not been described in this Tutorial. To learn about these features, read the chapters dealing with forms processing contained in the C/Base Reference Manual Chapter 6, Advanced Form Features.

If you intend to continue with the Tutorial at this time, you may proceed to the next chapter and follow the instructions given there. Otherwise you may return to the operating system prompt by selecting choice X - Exit from the Toolkit Menu.
