6: Creating the Demonstration System Menu

6.2.1 Entering a Menu Description

The Menu Description screen contains two fields, labeled Menu Name and Menu Commands. The name entered into the Menu Name field is the name of this menu. This name may then be used in another menu to return to this menu. If any commands are to be run before the menu is displayed, enter these commands in the Menu Commands field. The Menu Commands field is not used in C/Base Tutorial Manual. For more information on the use of this field, refer to C/Base Reference Manual Chapter 8, Creating Menus.

Make your entry by pressing the ADD key <F6> and typing demo in the Menu Name field. Since the Menu Commands field is not being used in our example, nothing is entered into that field.

Press the STORE key <F5> to store the contents of the Menu Description screen. The menu screen should then be displayed.
