NAME

sfldname - return field name of a field

Sfldname returns a pointer to the true field name of a field. The field name of a field is defined in the first Field Description form in the Field Name field. If the name parameter points to an empty string or is NULL, sfldname returns a pointer to the field name of the current field (only useful in U_USEREDIT, U_CHANGED, U_ENTERFIELD, and U_BEGINVAL calls). If the name parameter points to a string containing a field name or an edit name, sfldname returns a pointer to the field name of that field.

If the name parameter does not point to a valid field or edit name, sfldname returns NULL. Sfldname returns an empty string if the named field does not have a field name.
