The escout function determines whether an output escape sequence is defined. It returns a non-zero value (TRUE) if the escape sequence is defined, or zero (FALSE) otherwise.
The parameters you pass to escout are the same ones that escape accepts, and are also defined in the include file <cbase\escape.h>.
