The next step is to transfer all menus, text reportfiles, and text formatted
files for RMSfiles, formfiles, visual reportfiles and terminal definitions from
the source machine to the destination machine. Note that only text files are
transferred to the destination machine.
The file transfer process is your responsibility. Any text file transfer program, network utility or magnetic media backup and restore procedure is suitable. All files should be sent from the home directory of the application on the source machine to the home directory created for the application on the destination machine. The pathnames for all files should remain relative to the home directory of the application (e.g. def/mag.a, data/mag.a, data/mag.n, scr/mag.a, rpt/mag, vt100.a, dbase.def, rms.def, etc.).
