7.2 Help File Format

A helpfile is a text file from which sections are displayed when the operator requests help. A helpfile is made up of any number of help sections; each help section is separated from the next by one or more blank lines.

The first line of each help section begins with a section level number followed by any number of spaces and tabs and a section name. The section name specifies either a category or subject. Subjects are the sub-topics of a category. The help sections for subjects follow the category and have section level numbers that are greater than the category's section level number. Categories and subjects each contain one or more words.

The rest of the help section is the help text. The help text contains zero or more text lines that do not begin with a digit.
