11.2 Example

In this example, all the depreciation records before May 1, 1981 are removed. Upon starting the process, the following parameter screen is displayed.

Enter the date on this screen the same way you enter data on a data entry form. If you change your mind and decide you do not want to run this process, press the CANCEL button <F1><x> to cancel the process. When you are satisfied with what you have entered, press the STORE button <F5>. The date is entered as shown in the example below.

First, select Depreciation Records from the Maintenance, Delete Old menu.

Delete depreciation records before what date?

The process proceeds to remove depreciation records dated before May 1, 1981. When it is finished it displays the number of records deleted.

Press the RETURN key to return to the system menu.
