It is all right to delete a Job Id before there are any references to its activities. To do this, press the F1 key and then press the D key. Once a job has been closed it can be deleted by running the process Closed Jobs from the Maintenance, Delete Old menu. This process is discussed in Chapter 23, Delete Old Closed Jobs. Deleting an open job is impossible.
