17.4.4 Querying an Activity Id

To QUERY an activity, you must first QUERY its job on the Enter or Change Jobs screen. With the correct job displayed, press the NEXT <F7> button.

Notice that the Job Id from the jobs screen is automatically copied to the Enter or Change Activities in Job field. To scan through all of the activities for the job, press the FIND FIRST <F3> button. The first activity of the job is displayed. The remaining activities can be displayed by repeatedly pressing the FIND NEXT <F3> button. While you are scanning the activities, if you wish to go back and look at a previous activity, reverse the direction of the search by pressing the GOLD <F1> key and then the FIND <F3> key or by pressing the FIND PREVIOUS button.

To QUERY a particular activity, first put the screen in QUERY mode by pressing the QUERY <F2> button. Enter the information you know about the activity, and press the FIND <F3> button. For example, to FIND Activity Id 8900.100l, first press the QUERY <F2> button. Then TAB to the Activity Id field and enter 8900.100l. Pressing the FIND <F3> button displays the record as shown below.
