In this example, all the job cost journal entries before April 30, 1983 are deleted. First, select Job Cost Journal Entries from the Maintenance, Delete Old menu. The following parameter screen is displayed.
Enter the date on this screen the same way you enter data on a data entry form. If you decide you do not want to run this process, press the CANCEL button <F1><x> to cancel the process. When you are satisfied with what you have entered, press the STORE button <F5>. The screen below shows the date entered for this example.
Remove journal entries before what date?
The process deletes the old journal entries dated earlier than 4/30/83. When the process is finished, it displays the number of entries it deleted.
