CTERM C-1

NAME

cterm - build a terminal/monitor definition [Requires: C/Base Utilities Module]

SYNOPSIS

cterm [textfile ] terminalname

DESCRIPTION

Cterm reads lines from textfile, or standard input if textfile is omitted, and builds a new terminal definition in the directory /usr/cbase/lib/ cbase/escape with the name terminalname. If a terminal definition file already exists for terminalname, it is replaced by the new terminal definition. The terminal definition created is used by escape(C-3) and getkey to provide a method of using CRT terminals in a terminal independent manner. This program is intended mainly to be used in porting terminal definitions to different systems. FILES /usr/cbase/lib/cbase/escape/*
