NAME

pdef - print contents of RMS definition

SYNOPSIS

pdef [-d] [-f] deffile [textfile]

DESCRIPTION

Pdef prints the contents of the RMS definition file deffile to textfile
or the standard output file if textfile is omitted.

If no flag is given, the definition is printed in long report format.

If the -d flag is used, the definition is printed in a condensed format
suitable for input to cdef(C-1). This flag is for use in porting RMS
definition files to different systems.

If the -f flag is used, the File Access Method of the specified deffile
is printed.
