Detail Sequence
This field is what identifies the order detail being shipped. The value entered here is validated against the order detail file. If the system cannot find the sequence number you entered (there can be gaps), the message Not valid blinks in the lower right corner of your screen.
If you are having trouble finding a correct sequence number, press the validate key sequence GOLD <F1> and the letter V to display a second screen that can be used to find valid order detail sequence numbers. After you find the detail line you want, press the validate key sequence GOLD <F1> key and the letter E to return to the packing slip detail screen.
After a valid sequence number is entered, the product code, product description, and number of units left unshipped are displayed. Entry into this field is required.
Product
This field shows the product code being shipped.
Description
This field shows the product description as it is entered on the order detail record. Entry into this field is not allowed.
Units Shipped
This field records the number of units to be shipped. This amount must be less than or equal to the number of unshipped units for the order detail.
