The Order Entry System uses inventory information from the Inventory Control System. This screen allows you to enter inventory products into the inventory master file, as well as check the status of products so that customers can be informed of product availability and reasonable shipping dates. The inventory master file can also be accessed through the Inventory Control System.
From the Select, Inventory menu, select Inventory Products to display the following screen:
If you wish to add a product to the inventory master file, press the ADD <F6> button and enter data into the fields. If you wish to examine a product, press the QUERY <F2> button. Enter search parameters for the product, then press the FIND NEXT <F3> button until the desired product is displayed. To change a product, press the UPDATE <F4> button after you have queried and found the desired product.
