11.1 General Information

After a report has been selected from the Report, Order Entry menu, a parameter screen is displayed. Some of the reports have their own set of parameters that select what appears on the report. The parameter screens for all reports display the following report output parameters:

These parameters tell the system if the report should be sent to the system printer and, if so, how many copies to print. Because they contain initial values, you do not need to enter anything into these fields unless you want to change the initial values.

Values are entered on the parameter screen the same way data is entered on a data entry form. The TAB key, RETURN key, and arrow keys are used to move the cursor between fields. If you change your mind about running the report, press the CANCEL button (keys <F1>x). Pressing the RETURN key redisplays the Main menu. When you are satisfied with what you have entered, press the STORE button <F5> to run the report.

If no is entered into the parameter field Output on Printer?, the How many copies? parameter is ignored and, after the STORE button is pressed, the report is displayed on the screen instead of being sent to the printer. The system displays as much of the report as will fit on the screen.

If you have seen enough press the CANCEL button to redisplay the Main menu.
