This process is used to free up disk space. After you have entered a date, it deletes all inventory adjustments that meet the following conditions.
1. The date of the inventory adjustment is earlier than the date parameter entered for this process.
2. The inventory adjustment is in a closed period.
Deleting inventory adjustments completely removes the records from the Inventory Control System. So it is recommended that you run a report listing all inventory adjustments before the date you intend to use for deletion. This process should be run with extreme caution.
Note: Once any records have been deleted from a closed period, that period cannot be reopened.
