Returning to our example, purchase order po0401-01 was created for products 01c055 and 02c012. We need to add freight charges and shipping information to this purchase order. The freight charges are to be added to each detail line item. Shipping information is added in the shipping screen. These changes are made using the Purchase Orders menu choice.
The screen below shows the header screen and the detail screen for product 01c055. Notice that the Freight field is equal to 0.00 and the total amount for the detail line is 420.00.
After a freight charge of 42.12 is added to detail line item 01c055, the screen is as follows.
Now that the freight charge has been added, the Total field includes the freight charge and is equal to 462.12.
The next screen the detail line item screen for product 02c012.
The freight charge for product 02c012 is 235.67. The screen below shows the freight charge added to detail line item 02c012.
