Like tracking freight by item, this technique has several places where freight can be added. If the total amount of freight is know at the time an order is placed, the freight charge can be entered on the Freight screen of the Purchase Orders data entry form:
Notice the Freight field in the detail screen is always left zero. Instead, the total freight charge, 6.48, is entered on the freight screen in the Freight Charge field.
