Inventory products must be entered into the Inventory master file before they can be referenced anywhere in the system. For example, before a purchase order can be created for a product, the product must be in the Inventory master file.
The Inventory master file can be accessed from the Select, Inventory menu with the menu choice Inventory Products.
The Inventory data entry form is composed of two individual screens: general and price break. The general screen is used for the display and entry of general product information. The price break screen is used for the display and entry of alternate pricing values for a product. The following sub-sections describe these two screens in greater detail.
