The Receiving Slips data entry form is composed of three individual screens: header, detail and total. The header screen contains general information about the receiving slip. The detail screen is used for the line item information. There can be any number of line items. Each receiving line item corresponds to a line item of the related purchase order. The total screen displays the total amount of the receiving slip. No entry is permitted on this part of the screen. Its sole purpose is to update the total amount of the receiving slip. The following sub-sections describe each screen of the Receiving Slips data entry form.
