As was demonstrated in this chapter, pressing the GOLD key <F1> followed by the V key while the cursor is positioned in a field that has a validation form linked to it will cause the validation form to be displayed. The user may then use the QUERY and FIND functions to locate the appropriate record. (Note: Depending on the options used when the form command was invoked, the user may also be able to perform other functions while in this form.) Once the record has been 'found', the user may return to the original form by pressing the GOLD key <F1> followed by the E key, and the validated field's information is automatically entered to the current data entry form.
