The currently active function may be canceled, and the form returned to a no mode state, by pressing the GOLD key <F1> followed by the X key.
Whenever the GOLD key <F1> is pressed, the next key that is pressed has a special meaning. If you press the GOLD key <F1> accidentally, you may type a period (.) to cancel the GOLD function. This has no effect other than canceling the GOLD function.
