One huge step towards going paperless!
Conetic Version 5.0 digital scanning and report archiving contains a simple method to place a report, all associated images and programs needed to view on to removable media like CD-R or DVD+R. Once archived to a CD-R, the contents can be view by executing the rptview.exe program. This Royality Free Windows based browser enables the specific report to be viewed, and printed.
Assuming that you have archived a report that contains scanned images; the viewer will allow the end user to drilldown view and print the associated scanned image.
- Imagine - printing and archiving a General Ledger with Detail. Once archived the report and all linked images are fully portable, and can be viewed on just about any windows based PC.
- Imagine - printing and archiving a month end reports. Once archived, the report used to create the archive is available for viewing and reprinting.
